I own a house in old mill point in Harwichport and have it on the market for $1,149,000. It was a "teardown" and literally everything is brand new accept for three outside walls. It was first priced at $1.35 million and the broker said it was priced right. I do not intend to lower the price any further sine I have come down 15%. I do not have to sell and wonder if I have been too aggressive with the price reduction. Your opinion would be helpful. James Carbone

My opinion would be that you have priced your house competitively, and at a price that will raise more buyers' interest in that price range. Just be sure to stay firm on your selling price; that you will not consider offers unless they are close to the listing price. Your listing agent may be advising the same strategy, I don't know. And certainly consult with your listing agent, as they are the experts on selling homes. You hired that real estate agent for a reason, let them do their job.
